High Performance CO2 Capture Module

2023 / Experimental Systems / Thesis

A bench-scale test rig built to evaluate sorbent performance under realistic flue-gas conditions. The goal was to measure capture capacity and regeneration energy with repeatable, instrumented runs. I designed the flow loop, built the assembly, and ran the test campaign.

Project 03

Syngas Conditioning System

2024 / Gas Processing / Design Lead

A coated-fin adsorption heat exchanger developed to improve heat and mass transfer in a thermally driven cooling cycle. The design problem was balancing sorbent loading against pressure drop. I ran the conjugate heat transfer analysis and produced the manufacturing drawings.

A custom motion assembly designed and fabricated to position a test specimen with repeatable accuracy. The challenge was achieving stiffness and repeatability within a tight envelope. I designed the mechanism, machined the parts, and validated performance.
